COVID-19 Policy Guide for National & Continental Federations
The following policy guide sections are for all members of the World Dodgeball Family to consider;1. 2. 3.4.5.6. 7. The World Dodgeball Association’s first draft COVID-19 policy guide for National & Continental Federations has been created to support staff teams and volunteers across the World. We envisage that the policy guide will be updated on a regular basis as new intelligence is gathered. The World Dodgeball Association will regularly observe and analyse the guidance provided by the World Health Organisation. Business Operations – Consider only essential visits, off and onsite and international travel. If people can work from home it is advised that plans are mobilised at the earliest opportunity. Equipment – If there is adequate equipment for people to work from home / does everyone who could work from home and utilise digital conference call applications. Events – Consider whether any immediate planned events could have an impact on spreading COVID-19. If immediate planned events could have an impact then please consider an immediate postponement of the event. Communication - Public health information- the signs to look for, what to do if there is a suspected case etc. People hygiene – what measures need to be undertaken / general communication with regards to the spread of the virus and the impact this may have / Microsoft teams – ensuring people are aware of how to use this HQ Hygiene – We recommend that sanitisers are made available along with antibacterial sprays to use on communal areas daily. In addition paper towels to be used as opposed to hand towels. Antibacterial hand wash and tissues to be made available. Supply chain – Do you need to purchase goods etc to maintain and, or continue business operations? Finance – can the organisation function during a working from home policy without a significant negative impact upon the cashflow and payroll of the organisation? If so adopt an immediate working from home operations protocol.
